Ability to commute/relocate: Mansfield, TX 76063: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Position Responsibilities:

Manage network servers and technology tools.
Install and configure software and hardware.
Set up accounts and workstations.
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements.
Troubleshoot issues and outages.
Ensure security through access controls, backups, and firewalls.
Upgrade systems with new releases and models
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
Maintaining computer networks and systems including software, VPN routers, and other physical hardware
Installing and configuring network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues.
Monitoring computer systems to improve network performance for computer systems and networks.
Communicating network issues to other employees and management
Fixing software and hardware configuration issues for users on demand or from inspection of the system

Essential Skills and Experience:

BS/BA in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline; professional certification
IT: 5 years (Required)
Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role
Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
Excellent communication skills
Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management
Working knowledge of Domains, DNS, and SSLs is required.
Cisco or Meraki experience is required.
AWS experience is a plus.
Experience in Healthcare is a plus.
